Meet the team

Catherine is a Content Editor at Citalia. She finds it hard to pick favourites when it comes to Italy, although a long weekend exploring Montepulciano and the Tuscan countryside was hard to beat. She’s also got a weakness for mountains, so the Dolomites and Basilicata (and northern Lake Garda and Turin and Trento…) are next on her hit list.

Christina is one of the Content Editors for Citalia and has a passion for all things Italian. When in Italy, she loves just sitting in a cafe and watching the world go by and can’t go long without eating spaghetti carbonara.

Laura is Citalia’s Content Manager. Rome takes the title of her favourite Italian city, but for a seaside break, she can’t get enough of the Amalfi Coast. Next on her Italy wish-list is a road-trip around Sicily.

Silvia is Citalia’s Florence Expert. Having lived in the city for 15 years, she’s full of insider knowledge about its sights, shops and restaurants. She’s a big fan of Tuscan wine, and escapes to the region’s wineries as often as she can.

Isobel is Citalia’s Marketing Manager. Her favourite cities are Verona and Florence, but she also has a soft spot for the Apulian countryside. Wherever she goes, she’ll always make time for an Aperol spritz!

Sophie is Citalia’s Press Officer. Her last trips to Italy have been a journey along the Amalfi Coast, where she sampled plenty of limoncello (all in the name of research, of course), and a tour of Tuscany’s coast and countryside.

Artan is one of Citalia’s Italy Experts, and lived and worked in Italy for many years. He loves sharing his passion for Italy with others; from the idyllic lakes of the north and the culinary delights of Puglia, to the archaeological gems of Rome and Sicily.

Anna’s favourite Italian city is Florence and her own culinary adventures are inspired by Tuscany’s incredible cuisine – and Chianti. The great lakes are next on her bucket list.

Alex is a self-confessed Italy obsessive. His heart is split three ways between Lake Garda’s Malcesine, where he spent a summer working, Tuscan hill city Siena, where he studied for a year, and the beautiful baroque city of Lecce, where his grandfather grew up.

Natalie works across the PR and Social teams for Citalia. Her favourite trip to Italy was a city break to Venice, where she watched orchestras play in St. Mark’s Square at night, eating gondola-shaped pizza and plenty of gelato.
