1. a) Everything from the sleeper carriages to the restaurants are done up in Roaring Twenties style. 2. c) The carriages might date back to the 1920s and 1940s, but VSOE’s first run was actually on 25 May 1982. 3. c) On fast tracks, the VSOE can reach speeds of up to 160 kph. But since this trip is all about the journey, the train slows right down for the scenic bits. 4. b) A Belmond British Pullman.
